Deuxième Chance is a restored coastal cottage circa 1910. The name of our cottage in English is "Second Chance". We were able to rescue, move to a nearby location, and restore the cottage to its former glory. The bungalow was carefully moved to another street in "Old Town". The renovation and restoration was carefully done. We maintained the original floor plan of the cottage. We felt it was important to modernize the kitchen and bathroom. The result is a nod to a "Biloxi Cottage" typical to the Mississippi Gulf coast.
Mary Ellen & Bob, experienced rental hosts, share an interest in developing property that began after Hurricane Katrina when they restored a historic Biloxi cottage in Bay St. Louis, MS. La Petite Cachette has been placed on the National Register.
The goal is excellent hospitality to our guests.
*Guest making reservation must be at least 25 years old. Teens and children are welcome! If you have questions please contact us.
*Golf Carts are currently unavailable.
*We DO NOT allow rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions, showers, stag parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, large parties, etc. on the premises.
*Pets are welcome but REQUIRE pre-approval by homeowner.
*Cancellation Policy: Must notify 14 days before arrival date for full refund.

Mary Ellen and Bob are from Mississippi. Bob grew up in Bay St. Louis and graduated from St. Stanislaus High School. They have been coming back to 'The Bay' for over thirty years and are proud to be a part of this very special coastal community. The quiet streets, beautiful beaches, and the history & culture of Bay St. Louis are forever in their hearts. They are proud of the rebirth and growth of this unique seaside town.
